Motorcycle madness
Is it a rise in temperature or humidity, the phase of the moon, or just the time of year - I don't know, but something seems to have gotten into motorcyclists today. Normally, I have no problem with them, but today they all seem to have been acting as though they own the road and that everyone else on the road is invisible. Overtaking on blind bends, double white lines and under-taking stationary traffic at a crossroad - I saw it all today. Complete eejits.

It's because you have noticed them and are watching them. I'm sure they behave like that most of the time ;)

Summer, dry roads, testosterone.
I nearly killed one last week on the way back from Corfe Castle. He (or she, I suppose) was overtaking a line of traffic at about 60, around a series of blind bends with double white lines in the middle of the road. A bit of luck meant that I slammed on the brakes (and my usual tailgater didn't hit me) and I missed them just.
Not that I have the same tailgater all the time, there just often seems to be one right behind me.

Hmm...Not ALL of us motorcyclists are insane or feel the need to ride as fast as humanly possibly all the time. I like the freedom it provides rather than the speed and I obey MOST road signs/markings ;)
