mmmm, doughnuts...

After an extended period of not having any cakes at work, Thursday brought the arrival of many cream cakes and doughnuts. And this was good. Friday was also good, as for her birthday, VEH bought some savoury snacks which offset the cakes from the previous day. At this point, midway through the morning, I already felt stuffed - and after a departmental presentation - resulted in there being a huge amount of free sandwiches. As they were gfree, and provided by the company, I had to eat some of the sandwiches. I suppose therefore I was lucky when at the end of the day, and after celebrating VEH's birthday with a pint, I managed to find room for a full Thai meal in the evening. A nice meal, good company and an enjoyable time - but I really did feel stuffed!
