Long term file storage... in /tmp
Developers at work should take note: Files intended for long term storage should NOT be kept in /var/tmp - setting up software correctly in the first place would be a much better idea. Eejits.

Define "long term"? It's a pretty good place for some stuff... just depends on "how long"...
